Robert is a highly experienced Professional Project Manager with an impressive track record spanning over 25 years across Ireland, the UK, and the Channel Islands. Throughout his career, he has excelled in leading teams, overseeing operations, and successfully delivering planned and large-scale projects for local government and social housing organisations. He holds an MA in Philosophy, is a PhD researcher at the University of Ulster, focusing on character, philosophy and the concept of home. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Robert's heart belongs to his beloved Ulva – including hiking and wild-camping adventures through the island on exploratory solo missions, and guided travel, allowing people with complex mobility issues to discover off-the-beaten-track destinations. Robert nurtures his creative side by immersing himself in photography, experimenting with galleries, and tending to his orchids.

He was also the former Treasurer of the London Bangla Press Club, which shows his involvement in the media community. He was involved with the Al-Khair Foundation, one of the UK’s largest Muslim charities, demonstrating his commitment to humanitarian efforts. His success in carrying out charitable projects reflects his strong work ethic. He has the potential to play an important role in EastHands charity initiatives both locally and globally. Masum currently holds the position of European Bureau Head for Bangla Post and is the founder of Runner Media and Runner TV, which highlights his leadership and growth in the media industry. Chris retired in 2019 after working for more than 35 years at revit-know, a well-known charity focused on reducing crime. Most of their work involved helping businesses grow. He was Chief Executive Officer and has previously worked with Barnet Community & Youth Worker and a Social Worker. In addition to his professional career, Chris is deeply passionate about nature and the environment. He enjoys walking, cares about environmental issues, and commits time to conservation initiatives. This combination of professional expertise and personal commitment makes Chris a valuable member of EastHands, contributing to the improvement of systems, processes, and future projects.

Mohammad Jahed Karol, widely recognised as Karol within the Bangladeshi community, is a multifaceted individual who has made significant contributions throughout his life. From a young age, he has been dedicated to charitable endeavours. Jahed has excelled as a senior journalist and has played an active role in the community, serving as the Chairman of the London Education Trust and ICON QA Institute, as well as holding the position of Treasurer for the Council of Mosques. Currently, he is regularly broadcasting on Tower Hamlets Transparency Department. Jahed’s influence extends far and wide, as he holds various senior positions with community, charity, religious, and literary organisations. His lifetime commitment to charitable work has earned him immense recognition in the community. He has a deep-seated desire to assist those in need and wholeheartedly supports various charitable initiatives.

Dr. Anwar is a distinguished figure known for her diverse contributions in medicine, philanthropy, and international media. Renowned as the 'Debater' on National TV Debates for five consecutive years, she holds the record as the longest-serving female Bangladeshi newscaster internationally. As a Commonwealth scholar, Dr. Anwar pursued her PhD and received scholarships from the British Council and the Danish Government for TBM MBAs and respectively. After completing her MBBS, founding executive member of Action for Safe Motherhood, UK, she collaborated with the Brazilian and Ghana governments, actively campaigning against FGM. Dr. Anwar’s research is published in international medical journals, and she has spoken at various organisations and universities. She established the Rotaract Club of Medicine, Blind, and Orphans in Bangladesh. Dr. Anwar served as an Ambassador for Manusher Jonno, initiated the 'Widow Project,' and acts as a Youth Mentor with the Diana Award.

Nobab is a founder and Chair of the EastHands organisation, stands alongside dedicated trustees and advisors in his mission. Nobab possesses a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience cultivated through years of service as a journalist, as a director, playwright, and a tireless community activist and organiser. Additionally, he has the honour of being one of the founding members and a two-term elected president of the London Bangla Press Club. His professional journey has seen him hold pivotal roles within local authorities, main contractors, and housing associations at senior levels. Currently, Nobab serves as the Head of Planned Investment for one of the UK’s leading Housing Associations, where he is responsible for 60,000 properties, planned investment programme, and overseeing and leading major works, stock condition surveys, and idea scopes. He is passionate to make the changes in those who are in need and underprivileged in community.

He is a dedicated individual who wears many hats. He serves as a trustee and used to work as a financial consultant. But his involvement in the community goes even deeper. He’s a lifelong member of the prestigious London Bangla Press Club, highlighting his engagement in media and journalism. He’s also a permanent member of the historical Banglatown Centre, a hub known for cultural exchange and community gathering. Babul’s connection to the vibrant and diverse London is firmly rooted in Brick Lane. Located in the heart of east London, he’s spent a significant part of his life in this iconic neighbourhood, witnessing first-hand the changing social dynamics and challenges, including the issue of racism, that have shaped the local community. What truly sets Babul apart is his genuine passion for working with disadvantaged and underserved communities. His unwavering dedication is clear in his efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Imran also holds the role of Training and Organising Secretary at the London Bangla Press Club. His extensive experience includes leading various community projects in Brick Lane. This encompasses running bilingual journalism training programs for the London Bangla Press Club and coordinating EastHands food bank initiatives. Imran’s dedication to charity and fundraising has been a key engine and continues to drive his involvement in these meaningful activities.
