Barchester's Westgate House Care Home Announces £1,000 Donation to Easthands

Barchester’s Westgate House Care Home is proud to announce a donation of £1,000 to the Easthands Charity. The contribution will support the charity's crucial work and reflects Barchester Healthcare's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting meaningful initiatives.

The formal cheque presentation took place on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at Westgate House, a Barchester Healthcare facility. The event was attended by representatives from both organisations, including Nobab Uddin, Chair and Trustee of EastHands; Bablul Hoque, Trustee of EastHands; Lavina, Assistant Manager at Westgate House; and Gemma Powdrill, Activities Coordinator.

“We are delighted to support Easthands Charity with this donation,” said Lavina, Assistant Manager at Westgate House. “At Barchester, we believe in supporting organisations that make a positive impact. We hope this donation will help Easthands continue their valuable work.”
