Carbon Footprint Reduction Project
The East Hands Charity’s carbon neutrality project is underway in Tower Hamlets. Every Wednesday, awareness advice sessions are held at their East London office, where project coordinator Rumana informs local residents. They create booklets with advice on reducing carbon emissions in daily practices and encourage residents to actively participate and share their opinions through surveys.
Chairman Nobab Uddin emphasises the current importance of carbon neutrality, highlighting the Tower Hamlets Council’s collaboration in facing this challenge. Over the next six months, the project includes weekly sessions, seminars, workshops, and expert guidance to instill positive changes toward carbon neutrality among Tower Hamlets residents.
